Moreover, ON Semiconductor issued a notification letter stating that as the government tightened the closure measures, especially in Shanghai, its China global distribution center was forced to close, affecting business.

It has been confirmed by the source that the news is true. The notification letter also mentioned that Chinese shipments have begun to move to other ON Semiconductor sub-districts to ease capacity constraints and help reduce the impact — such as distribution centers in Singapore, Manila, and the Philippines.

Furthermore, ON Semiconductor has three factories in China, located in Leshan, Suzhou, and Shenzhen in Sichuan, the people said. The CGDC (China Global Distribution Center) in Shanghai is responsible for assembling the products of these three factories and distributing them to the world, but it is not yet fully operational.
