Gigabyte’s AORUS 17X gaming notebook may be equipped with Intel i9-12900HX processor

According to VideoCardz news, Gigabyte’s official website announced the AORUS 17X gaming notebook, confirming that it is equipped with Intel’s unreleased i9-12900HX processor. Currently, the page has also been removed.

Moreover, this notebook is equipped with an i9-12900HX processor. According to previous reports, this processor has the same specifications as the desktop i9-12900K, namely 8 large cores + 8 small cores, a total of 16 cores, and 24 threads.

Furthermore, the maximum power consumption is 5GHz, and the basic power consumption is 55W. In addition, this notebook is provided with an RTX 3080 Ti independent display. Recently, Dell’s new Precision 7770/7670 has revealed Intel’s unreleased 12th-generation Core HX series processors, including the following models:

  • i5-12600HX (vPro): 12 cores 16 threads, up to 4.6GHz

  • i7-12800HX: 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 4.8GHz

  • i7-12850HX (vPro): 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 4.8GHz

  • i9-12900HX: 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 5GHz

  • i9-12950HX (vPro): 16 cores 24 threads, up to 5GHz

Intel is expected to release the new HX series processors in May.
