According to the latest report, Meta (formerly Facebook) has decided to suspend its efforts to develop its own processors for AR glasses products, and instead decided to continue to use Qualcomm chips.

Previously, Meta was rumored to intend to develop a dedicated processor for its AR/VR products to get rid of its dependence on Qualcomm products and achieve better-customized performance. The chip project is code-named Brasilia.
Moreover, despite the suspension of the Brasilia project, Meta will not give up its efforts to develop its own processor and will be equipped with its planned smartwatch products.
