According to the latest report, Valve has quietly updated the official base specifications for the Steam Deck handheld.
The Steam Deck tech specs page originally suggested that the dock would have one USB-A 3.1 port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, and an Ethernet port for networking, but the page now shows that all three USB-A ports are the faster 3.1 standards will be used and the Ethernet interface will be Gigabit Ethernet.

In addition, the name of the dock has also been changed, originally displayed as Official Dock, now it has been changed to Docking Station.
The price of the base is not yet known, and the official only generally said that it will be released in late spring 2022. The base allows the Steam Deck handheld to be connected to a large screen to play games.
