According to Alibaba Cloud’s official announcement, VMware services will be officially sold commercially from April 18, 2022.VMware Service (Alibaba Cloud VMware Service, ACVS for short) is based on the strategic cooperation between Alibaba Cloud and VMware and is jointly developed by Alibaba Cloud and VMware.
Moreover, Alibaba Cloud provides VMware SDDC public cloud services on the enterprise-level cloud for sales, operation, and after-sales support. VMware services have the out-of-the-box and elastic features of cloud services, helping users easily migrate or extend existing VMware workloads from on-premises data centers to Alibaba Cloud.

VMware services automatically create user-specific VMware environments based on VMware SDDC software on dedicated physical servers. Users can flexibly configure and manage their own VMware environment, and create custom-sized virtual machines based on VMware vSphere to deploy and run workloads.
