The Huawei Mate Xs 2 folding flagship and full-scene new product launch conference will be officially announced on April 28. This model is now available on platforms such as JD.com for appointments.

According to display analyst Ross Young, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 will be upgraded in terms of screen, and the refresh rate will be increased to 120Hz, but it will still use an LTPS screen instead of an LTPO screen, and the price may be around $2,500.

Compared with LTPS, the LTPO screen has improved charge mobility and pixel point response, which can reduce power consumption. The digital blogger @Panda Verybald also released a rendering of what it claims to be the Huawei Mate Xs 2. The device has three color schemes, adopts a folded design, and has a punch hole in the upper right corner.

As can be seen from the revealed renderings, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 is suspected to have a similar design to the previous generation, with the rear lens and the like placed in a strip, and the front lens is also in the same position.

The three colors of the device have different designs on the inside of the fuselage, but they can only be seen when they are opened, they are:

  • Yahei: cross skin pattern, calm

  • Jinbai: natural skin texture, temperament

  • Frost Purple: Frost Effect, Advanced

In addition, according to @kanshan’s uncle, the phone has a 4880mAh battery, 66W fast charge, and uses a composite laminate structure to add a buffer layer to the screen, which may be the flattest folding phone.

It is worth mentioning that a new Huawei 4G phone with the model PAL-AL00 passed the network access audit of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology last month. It runs  HarmonyOS and is equipped with a Kirin 9000 4G chip. It is expected to be the Mate Xs 2.

According to Weibo bloggers, @Panda very bald broke the news, the device is an “outside folding” plan and uses a punch-hole design on the right side.
