Mark Gurman said the M2 chip isn’t the only chip Apple is testing, with an M3 chip in the iMac also in the works. In addition, he also said that the iMac Pro will still be released, and the release time maybe later.

Moreover, the current iMac products are equipped with a 24-inch 4.5K screen and the chip is M1. In Mark Gurman’s previous article, he also said that the upcoming M2 chip will be used in the new MacBook Air, entry-level MacBook Pro, and the new Mac mini. Future M2 Pro and M2 Max chips will be used in the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

Apple has now announced that it will hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) online from June 6th to 10th. New Mac products may be released at WWDC.
