According to GameSpot, Gearbox Software announced at PAX East that full cross-play online game support, including PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, will arrive sometime in the spring.
In the past, Sony has refused to cross-platform online games, such as “Fortress Night” and “Rocket League” and other games have been hindered.
However, the Borderlands 3 spin-off Tina’s Fantastic Land launched in March to support cross-platform play across all platforms, which seems to indicate that Sony is opening up this feature.
