According to an email sent to ResetEra users, Sony revealed that it will allow players to change their subscription tiers on their own. That said, you can move to a different subscription level at will, and the cost will be flexibly adjusted based on the time remaining on the user’s current subscription plan.
“You can easily upgrade to a higher benefit plan at any time. To do this, you just pay the difference between your current plan and your new plan, which adjusts based on your remaining subscription time.”
Moreover, Sony announced this week that it will start releasing a new generation of PlayStation Plus video game subscription services around the world at the end of May this year.
