Kindle Reader Firmware 5.14.3 update launched, brings new grid and list view
According to the latest report, Kindle reader firmware update version 5.14.3 was released today, bringing a new grid and list view, and books can be sorted by publication date.

Kindle reader firmware version 5.14.3 is available for the following devices:

The updates are as follows:

New Grid View and List View: The library’s view design has been updated to add richer detail to the list view. Here you can now see the cover art, more works, and the latest reading progress.

Filter and sort menus: The filter and sort menus now offer more control options. In the sort menu, you can now choose to sort by publication date and toggle ascending/descending mode for each sort field. You can also view the settings for the view mode to access favorites here.

Scrollbar Navigation: The newly designed library scrollbar allows you to drag to scan, tap anywhere to jump through, or long-press to scroll continuously.

Favorites View: All cloud favorites can now be viewed in My Library and added to Favorites, displayed in the grid or list view. View settings can be changed through the Advanced Options of Home & Library in the Settings menu.

[Discover eBooks] card: Use the [Discover eBooks] card to filter books by genre or category to find the next book you want to read.

Access recently read eBooks: You can quickly access up to 20 recently read eBooks through [Home].

Low battery screen: Updated the user interface to display the Kindle low battery to ensure clear and easy-to-read information.
- Performance improvements, bug fixes, and other general enhancements.
If you can’t find the update, you can manually download the firmware with the .bin suffix from Amazon’s official website, then connect the Kindle to the computer, copy the firmware update file to the root directory of the Kindle, and then select the local file in the Kindle settings to update.
