Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S receives MIUI 13-based May 2022 security update globally

Xiaomi has dispatched the May 2022 Android security patch update for the Redmi Note 9S customers in the Global markets. The update enhances system security and stability for the device’s performance enhancements.

Moreover, this update also comes with some security and privacy-related issues. However, this latest update doesn’t bring any other new features and changes but it fixes some bugs that affect users’ experience.

Moving on, the Redmi Note 9S update comes with MIUI 12.5 build number V12.5.6.0.RJWMIXM. It’s currently released in the Global market on MI Pilot Testors and will expand to more users as soon as the company ensures its stability.

Below you can check the download link to this update. And you can also install it manually through the settings. To do this, head over to the Settings of your phone. Now go to the MIUI version and click on download and install. After installing, restart your device and it’s done.
