Verizon Samsung Galaxy S21 user gets May 2022 security update in US

Samsung Galaxy S21 received the May 2022 Android security patch update that installed various new camera features, earlier this month. Meanwhile, Verizon is rolling out the 2nd May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy S21 series phones.

According to the changelog, the latest update improves the performance of the device as well as fixes known issues that arrived with previous updates. At the same time, it also enhances the security and stability of your device in order to maintain the user experience.

Moreover, the 2nd May update for Samsung Galaxy S21 also comes with various privacy and security-related issues and exploits from Google. These include 7 critical, 23 moderate, and 3 high levels of CVEs to enrich the overall system functionality.

Other than these, the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any features or major changes. You can identify the fresh firmware for your Galaxy S21 model through the following One UI build version:
