Apple’s Cinematic mode applies an effect that keeps the subject of your video sharp while creating a beautifully blurred foreground and background. Follow these below-mentioned steps to enable blurred background in your Apple iPhone.
Steps:
- Open the Camera app
- Choose the cinematic mode to blur the area around your subject
- iPhone will automatically shift the focus from one subject to another or you can tap to change it
iPhone users can also adjust the depth of field in a cinematic mode video. Here’s how you can do it.

- Open the Photos app, and open a video you record in Cinematic mode
- Tap Edit
- A slider appears below the video, Drag the slider left or right to adjust the depth of field effect
- Hit Done
