The update instructions are as follows:

  • Improved responsiveness under macOS during high CPU load by switching to modern lock API.

  • Required fields in the PDF form will be highlighted.

  • Improved performance on high refresh rate monitors (120Hz+).

  • The subtitle font size can now be changed directly from the PiP window. Additionally, picture-in-picture subtitles are now available on Funimation, Dailymotion, Tubi, Hotstar, and SonyLIV.

  • The buttons in the tab toolbar can be accessed using Tab, Shift+Tab, and the arrow keys.

  • The “Make Text Larger” accessibility setting under Windows now affects all UI and content pages, not just the system font size.

  • Support for pinning to the Windows taskbar during installation on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

  • When copying text from form controls, non-breaking spaces are preserved, preventing word wrapping.

  • Fixed WebGL performance issue on NVIDIA binary driver via DMA-Buf on Linux.

  • Fixed an issue where Firefox startup could be significantly slowed down by processing local storage of web content, which was most affected by users with platter hard drives and large amounts of local storage.

  • Removed configuration option to allow SHA-1 signatures in certificates: SHA-1 signatures in certificates have long been determined to be insecure and are now not supported.

  • Multiple security fixes.

  • The Firefox 103 version is automatically updated in Windows and macOS, and you can also look for updates in Help > About Firefox in the upper-right menu.

The Firefox 103 Android update contains the following:

Access tabs and bookmarks from the search bar in Firefox for Android. Click the search engine icon in the search bar to open a drop-down menu. Select a bookmark or tab.

When switching to a different search item or engine.

  • Any existing text in the search will be preserved.

  • The autocomplete result will be updated.

  • Search results will be updated.

  • The icon or search modifier icon will be updated.

  • Fixed minor page load performance regressions.

  • Fixed certificate error security issue CVE-2022-34469.
