Verizon Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 receives July 2022 security update in US

Verizon has begun rolling out a new software update for the current Samsung foldable smartphones such as Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, which mainly installs the July 2022 Android security patch in the United States.

According to the latest information, this fresh software update provides performance improvements and the most up-to-date Android security patches on your device. It further enhanced system security as well as fixed a lot of issues and exploits.

As per the official support page, these vulnerabilities include over 50 CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung, which are related to the Samsung Messages app, Knoxguard lock, Wearable Manager Installer, Samsung Finder, Contacts storage, and more.

Software versions:

Verizon is releasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold on 3 July 2022 security update with the One UI build version F926USQU1DVG1. At the same time, the Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Flip 3 July 2022 update holds the firmware version F711USQU2DVG1.

How to update Verizon’s model:

Visit the Settings of your phone followed by System updates then Check for system updates. If your device receives a new software update, tap Download now. Upon completion, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of the software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.

The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear indicating that the installation is complete. Tap OK and you’ve successfully updated your software.
