It can also be seen from the renderings that the front of the phone is punched in the center, and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. According to previous reports, this model will use a 6.5-inch Full-HD + resolution pOLED display, support 144Hz refresh rate and 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, equipped with MediaTek Dimensity MT6879 processor, built-in 6000mAh battery (no news on fast charging power), with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage space.
In terms of images, the rear 50MP main camera (OIS), 13MP wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and the front 32MP lens. The overall size is about 160.8 x 74.2 x 8.2 mm (including the rear camera bump of 10.1 mm). It is reported that the MT6879 processor will contain two Cortex-A78 cores (2.6 GHz) and six A55 (2.0 GHz) and a Mali-G79 GPU that has not yet been seen, and is expected to be slightly inferior to the Dimensity 8000.
MediaTek previously released the latest Dimensity 1050 and 930, and the new phone equipped with this chip will also be unveiled in the third quarter, so it is speculated that MT6879 may be Dimensity 1050/930, but think of the Dimensity released by MediaTek in 2019. The 1000 model is named MT6889, and the processor on this device is MT6879, so this MT6879 is more likely to be Dimensity 930.
There is also news that the Motorola Moto Edge 2022 will support a stylus. According to 91mobiles, the next-generation Moto Edge 2022 will be launched in the third quarter of this year.
