Qualcomm announced today that it has become the official global partner of the football club Manchester United. Qualcomm said the collaboration will feature the Snapdragon brand. The Snapdragon platform powers many of the world’s high-end smartphones, PCs, gaming devices, connected cars, smart wearables, and more.

The strategic partnership will create unique events and experiences for Manchester United fans at Old Trafford and around the world, supported by the exceptional performance offered by the Snapdragon platform. In addition, Qualcomm will advise Manchester United on plans to improve mobile connectivity at Old Trafford, home to Manchester United, to enhance the matchday experience for fans.
Judging from the official announcement, it is expected that the Snapdragon logo will be seen at Old Trafford, and it is even expected to see on the players’ jerseys.
