Samsung rolled out firmware update for 7-year-old Galaxy J7 to improve GPS stability

The first generation of Samsung Galaxy J7 was released in 2015. After 7 years, multiple Asian versions of this phone have recently received new firmware updates. The new firmware versions J700FXXU4BVG2 (for SM-J700F models) and J700HXXU3BVG2 (for SM-J700H models) bring GPS stability improvements to the Samsung Galaxy J7.

However, these two versions did not bring new security patches and are still the Android 6.0.1 operating system. Samsung Galaxy J7 is provided with a 5.5-inch 720p TFT screen, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, also has 1.5GB of running memory and 16GB of storage capacity, supports up to 128GB of memory card expansion, 3000mAh removable battery, the body is 7.9 mm thick.
