At 10:30 this morning, SpaceX officially tweeted: “52 Starlink satellites have been confirmed to be in place.” This launch mission is the 34th launch of SpaceX in 2022. This time, 52 Starlink satellites were successfully deployed. So far, the number of Starlink satellites has reached 3,009, officially breaking the 3,000 mark.

The last launch mission was on July 24, when the Falcon 9 successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying 53 Starlink satellites. Starlink is the next-generation satellite network used to provide broadband Internet access to any point on Earth.

SpaceX started the project in February 2018. The initial Starlink constellation plan consisted of 12,000 satellites. In 2019, the company submitted an application to launch an additional 30,000 satellites.
