Huawei Mate 50 series gets three certificates, launch expected soon

Huawei HarmonyOS 3 was released in late July and will start a scaling upgrade in September. It was previously reported that the new Huawei Mate 50 series is expected to be released on September 7.

According to Weibo blogger @Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Mate 50 series has completed three certificates, and the network is equipped with 66W fast charging as standard. In addition to regular face recognition, Huawei Mate 50 Pro also adds many new features and functions and adopts a curved screen design with bangs.

The following are the three documents before a mobile phone is compliant and listed:

  • 3C Safety Report (CCC) – Indicates that the mobile phone is in line with the national quality and safety requirements, issued by the National Quality Certification Center.
  • Radio Type Approval Certificate (SRRC) – It certifies that the radio frequency used by the mobile phone complies with the national regulations and is issued by the Radio Administration.
  • Network Access Permit (CTA) – a comprehensive performance test for mobile phones, which is a relatively long-term certification, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is basically the last certificate.

In early July this year, the new brand Huawei Imaging XMAGE was officially released. Huawei Imaging XMAGE is a new brand launched by Huawei after condensing and summarizing its past accumulation, practice, and creation in the imaging field.

This brand is the exclusive brand of Huawei mobile imaging. Huawei promises that the next generation of mobile phones will also bring breakthroughs in imaging. And the new phones here are believed to be the Mate 50 series.

In the configuration of Huawei Mate 50 series mobile phones, in terms of processor, except Huawei Mate 50e equipped with Snapdragon 778G, all other Huawei Mate 50 series are equipped with SM8425 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chip). It is reported that the Huawei Mate 50 series, the standard version uses a centered punched straight screen, and the Mate 50 Pro uses a notch curved screen but cancels the large curvature design of the waterfall screen. The blogger recently said that it is not a four-curved screen.

The Huawei Mate 50 Standard Edition is equipped with a 90Hz screen, and the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS are equipped with a 120Hz screen. In addition, Huawei Mate 50 Pro screen resolution is 1212*2616, and Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition is octagonal black and white ceramic with subtle changes.
