Earlier this month, realme India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed that with the launch of India’s 5G network, realme will launch affordable 5G mobile phones in India. Today, realme officially released the realme 9i 5G in India.

The realme 9i 5G uses a 6.6-inch LCD water drop screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2408 and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip, with a maximum optional storage of 6+128GB. In addition, the device supports SD card expansion up to 2TB.
In terms of imaging, the realme 9i 5G has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a triple-camera design on the rear, which are a 50-megapixel main camera (f / 1.8 aperture + 5P lens), a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
In terms of battery life, the realme 9i 5G has a built-in 5000mAh battery, and the USB-C interface supports 18W fast charging. In addition, the machine has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the realme 9i 5G runs the realme UI 3.0 system based on Android 12 and uses side fingerprint recognition.
The whole device weighs 187 grams, is 8.1 mm thick, and has three colors blue, black, and gold. The phone will be available for sale on realme India’s official website, Flipkart, and offline on August 24. The specific prices are:
