According to VideoCardz news, the computing module of the Intel NUC 13 Extreme host has now been revealed, using a new thermal design. According to reports, the Intel NUC 13 Extreme is code-named “Raptor Canyon” and its compute module is code-named “Shrike Bay”.

The NUC 13 Extreme’s compute module has been redesigned and appears to be much longer, with a full PCIe x16 slot and two DIMM memory slots, and it’s unclear if the NUC 13 will eventually support DDR5 memory.
In July this year, the Reddit forum intel NUC module revealed the news of Intel NUC Raptor CANYON. It is reported that the Intel Raptor CANYON will be equipped with the next-generation Intel processor, that is, the 13th-generation Core, with optional i9K, i7K, and i5K models, with a volume of 13.9L. For comparison, Intel’s current largest NUC, the Dragon Canyon, is 8L.
