Apple plans to produce iPhone 14 in India about two months after the launch: Report
According to the latest report, Apple plans to produce the iPhone 14 in India about two months after the launch of the new iPhone 14, narrowing the gap between the production time of the new iPhone in India and China, but not as much as there was no time difference at all, as some had expected.

Apple has been working with suppliers to bolster production in India and reduce the lag in making new iPhones in India, which typically lags China by six to nine months, people familiar with the matter said. Apple has not responded to requests for comment as of press time.
According to previous reports, Apple’s Chinese supplier Luxshare Precision and iPhone assembler Foxconn have started trial production of the Apple Watch and MacBook in northern Vietnam. Earlier this year, Apple had already started producing the iPhone 13 in India, a move widely seen in the industry as an attempt to diversify its supply chain.
Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo broke the news on Twitter earlier this month, saying that according to his latest survey, Apple will ship the new 6.1-inch iPhone 14 in India almost at the same time as China for the first time. Previously, India usually shipped a quarter later than China.
