That’s a bit shorter and narrower than last year’s Xperia 5 III, which was 157mm and 68mm, respectively, so the new phone will be more compact. The Xperia 5 IV’s screen is listed as 153.5mm diagonally, which is exactly 6.04 inches, which is slightly shorter than the Xperia 5 III’s 6.1-inch panel.

Additionally, the Xperia 5 IV will feature a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The list also confirms that the new phone supports NFC and wireless charging, the latter of which was not supported on the previous three Xperia 5 models.

Moreover, the Sony Xperia 5 IV will also support Wi-Fi 6 and RFID smart cards, the latter of which is widely used in Japan. The above is all the information about the Sony Xperia 5 IV disclosed by the FCC.

According to previous reports, the Xperia 5 IV will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is expected to use the same camera configuration as the Xperia 5 III: a 12-megapixel ( IMX557) main sensor, a 12-megapixel IMX663 telephoto module, and a 12-megapixel (IMX363) ultra-wide-angle lens.
