The following picture shows the latest QR code login interface of Steam posted by Pavel Djundik. The interface will retain the password to log in, and at the same time, use the Steam Mobile App to scan the QR code to log in.
At present, Steam officials have not announced the launch time of this feature. The current Steam Mobile mobile app of Valve only supports the use of token two-step verification when users log in to Steam on the computer and have not yet launched the scan code login function.
This feature provides you with an additional level of security to prevent unauthorized access. You can verify your email address with Steam and your Steam account password but access to your email account is required for changes to your Steam account information such as password, contacts, and email address. This helps protect your Steam accounts from potential threats.
