Microsoft Flight Simulation game gets first city update, introduced five revamped German cities

Microsoft announced another major update to the “Microsoft Flight Simulation” game. City Update 01, now free for all users, is the first-ever release to target a specific city rather than a country. In the update, Microsoft introduced five revamped German cities: Hannover, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Bonn, and Cologne.

In addition, Microsoft also revealed information about the upcoming release of “Microsoft Flight Simulation 40th Anniversary Edition” on November 11, 2022, which will be available for free to users who own the game and Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Moreover, Microsoft Flight Simulation is currently available on Xbox Series X and Series S, PC (Microsoft Store and Steam), Xbox and PC Game Pass, and other devices through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
