As per reports, this is a ROG proprietary riser card with M.2 slots on each side, one supports PCIe 4.0, the other supports PCIe 5.0, and both slots support SSDs with a maximum length of 110mm. Additionally, the PCIe 5.0 slot has dedicated heatsinks to aid in cooling. Because this riser card is designed perpendicular to the motherboard, it can access more chassis airflow and will have better cooling performance.
The ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme flagship motherboard is now officially released and is expected to launch on September 27 with Ryzen 7000 series processors.
