In April this year, the Xiaomi Civi 1S was officially launched. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and starts at $327. Previously, multiple sources had revealed that Xiaomi is about to release the Civi 1S iterative product – the Xiaomi Civi 2 mobile phone.

Today, Xiaomi Civi Product Manager Hu Xinxin said on the social platform that the Xiaomi Civi 2 is about to be released, and the machine has obtained the Weibo model certification.
Some reports say that the Xiaomi Civi 2 could be code-named “Ziyi” and run the MIUI V12 system based on Android 13.0.1.0.SLLCNXM. The machine is expected to bring new success. Industrial design continues the thin and light characteristics of the previous generation.
As previously reported by @Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi 2 will use an FHD+ 120Hz home flexible screen, upgrade to high-quality eye protection dimming, front single-shot fill light, fast charging, and video. In terms of configuration, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.
That Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip was released in May this year. It is based on Samsung’s 4nm process and has four Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.4GHz. Featuring Adreno 662 GPU, which offers 20% faster performance than its predecessor. It also comes with an X62 5G modem capable of 4.4Gbps download speeds and dual 5G connections WiFi-6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are supported with Snapdragon Sound and aptX. The chipset supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
