The official said that Amlogic S928X performs better for consumers in the environment of 8K ultra-high-definition resolution 7680*4320, 60FPS frame rate, and 10-bit depth colors. Stunning color saturation, more delicate and clear image quality, and image processing capabilities with a strong sense of depth and texture.
Moreover, Amlogic’s S928X supports 8Kp60 video processing capabilities in the world’s mainstream video formats such as AV1, H.265, VP9, AVS3, and AVS2. It has built-in full-featured HDMI2.1a and supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), and VRR (variable refresh rate).
Furthermore, it has come with a dedicated technology which is ALLM (Auto Low-latency Mode), QMS (Quick Media Switching), QFT (Quick Frame Transport) fast frame rate mode, DSC1.2 (Display Stream Compression), SBTM (Source-Based Tone Mapping) and other technologies, which can further reduce the screen delay and make the image content more delicate and clear.
