This unofficial app brings Nearby Share support to macOS
Google’s Nearby Share feature is used for sharing images or files between Android devices. Google’s Nearby Share app recently received support for Windows PCs, which is currently in the beta phase.
Now a developer created Android’s Nearby Share for macOS and called it “NearDrop.” This unofficial version of the app brings partial support for macOS. You can only receive files from an Android device to your Mac. The Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth transfer is not working with this app.

You can send files from an Android device to a macOS device over Wi-Fi LAN. In order to receive the file, your computer must remain visible on the network at all times to work.
You’ll also need to enable notifications for NearDrop within the “System Settings” section of your Mac, otherwise, you won’t get the pop-up to confirm transfers.
Neat: A developer built an unofficial Nearby Share client for macOS!
It currently supports receiving files from Android over WiFi LAN only, but the fact that it even works is impressive in and of itself.

Well, you can still perform all types of file transfer between Windows PC and Android devices, thanks to the latest beta.
