Posted on

Xiaomi rolls out the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro devices in various markets. The latest MIUI 14 update has brought several significant features and optimizations for the device, but at the same time, it too obtained breaks in the Redmi Note 10 Pro front camera.

Multiple users are reporting that the MIUI 14 update has broken the front camera of their Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone. The owners of the device were having a seamless experience with the 16MP front camera and front camera video recording at 30fps. But as soon as they upgraded to MIUI 14 it was all shattered instantly.

MIUI 14 CAMER ISSUE

As per the user’s report, the selfie camera of the Redmi Note 10 Pro failed to work after the MIUI 14 upgrade. The users are not able to take selfies or make video calls, or even the camera is not showing the objects which are in front of it and it’s totally blank. However, it seems like the MIUI camera application has obtained glitches.

So far, the owners of the device have not found any solution to this annoying issue, and the company has also not responded to any of the reports. Though, we can expect that the Chinese tech maker will fix this issue with the upcoming security patches and possibly could be with May 2023.

Although, even after updating to the stable version, your device takes some time to adopt the changes of the latest software. So, some common issues like overheating, battery draining, and abnormal working of apps are normal. We recommend you wait for three to four days and let your device embrace the changes.

However, to fix this issue, you can try cleaning the cache of your camera, if that doesn’t work, then reboot your device.
