Google Pixel Watch gets May 2023 security update

Google Pixel Watch is grabbing the May 2023 security update with a small bunch of improvements. Alongside this, the latest build serves stability aspects for the wearable. It also maintains efficiency in the performance of your wrist gadget.

Meanwhile, the latest software update signifies the fact that the company keeps on looking for new improvements for its devices and seeding them right away. Speaking of which, Google has now pushed the May 2023 security update for the Pixel Watch owners.

According to the information, the Android maker is sending the new firmware for the Pixel Watch with the RWDA.230114.013 firmware version. Besides, the wearable is obtaining the May 05, 2023 security patch level. Similar to previous rollouts, there’s no separate build for Japan and Taiwan.

In terms of offerings, the changelog doesn’t reveal any specific additions. It only reads the statement – “May 2023 software update includes the latest security patches for Pixel Watch users.”

However, the package is considered to bring new optimizations to improve the system stability and ramp up the functioning. We can also assume that the update contains bug fixes that may have appeared after the previous builds.

HOW TO UPDATE?

You can fetch the new firmware by following a few simple steps. Firstly, knock on the Settings menu and select System > System Updates. Now, Tap “Your Watch is up to date” on the screen when you find the latest version. Click on the version multiple times to initiate the download.

Ahead, to speed up the download process, you can open the Connectivity preferences and disable Bluetooth to force Wi-Fi. The update has started rolling out today for all Pixel Watch devices running on WearOS 3.5 and will be available completely over the next week.
