Posted on

Before the official rollout of One UI 6.0 or One UI 5.1.1, Samsung is trying to seed every eligible unit with the functionalities of the One UI 5.1 software version. In a recent development, Samsung is expanding the One UI 5.1 features and optimizations for more users of Galaxy A14 5G in the US.

Based on Android 13, the One UI 5.1 software update will make your newly launched Galaxy device more prominent, as it comes with a bundle of cosmetic and performance-related changes. In addition, the update also includes the April 2023 Android security patch for improved system security and stability.

It will make multitasking easier by showing up frequently used apps first when you open the split-screen multitasking menu and allowing you to maximize or minimize an app by dragging that app window’s corners. It further offers you the ability to view and edit EXIF information on images and videos in the Gallery app and much more.

Notably, the One UI 5.1 update was previously released for the carrier-locked version of Samsung Galaxy A14 5G at Verizon’s network in the US. And now, the company is expanding the reach of the software for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy A14 5G on US Cellular’s network, therefore, the remaining will also collect it soon.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is a sophisticated device, which comes with pro-grade hardware and software capabilities and the main key point of the device is its Galaxy S23-like camera module, which makes the device different from other A series models. Also, the phone comes preinstalled with Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software.

The device is currently running One UI 5.1 and will also obtain the functionalities of the Android 14-powered One UI 6.0 software version in the future. However, if you are operating the Galaxy A14 5G device and bound with the mentioned network, then you can check and install the latest update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
