Samsung Galaxy A52 starts grabbing May 2023 security update

Samsung is rolling out the May 2023 Android security update for the Galaxy A52 smartphones. This new firmware comes with the aim to promote the functioning of the device and keep it safe and secure with the latest advancements. Notably, the update is rolling out for 4G models as the 5G variant has already obtained it.

According to the information, Samsung earlier released the May 2023 security update for the Galaxy A52 5G devices and the patch is now available to download for 4G models as well. Users can identify the firmware via the One UI build version A525MUBS5DWE1 and will need to install a package of around 245MB.

Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone users are currently enjoying the functionalities of the latets Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software and will further acquire the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14. Consequently, this new firmware version will make the A52 4G system more reliable and let you perform tasks seamlessly.

Moving on the changelog of the update didn’t notes any new elements or major changes for the gadget, but it ensures enhanced security and reliability for a boosted performance. Other than this, the monthly patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 58 CVE items from Google and 21 SVE items from Samsung software.

Additionally, the update is currently live in some South American countries like Argentina, however, the company will not take much time to expand its reach to more users. Hence, if you own a Galaxy A52 smartphone, then you can check for the latest update and can download it manually through Settings> Software Update > Download & Install.
