Telegram has recently introduced the all-new Story feature that lets you use and share short video clips and photos just like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Instead of sharing your favorite moments with your friends and colleagues one by one, you can post them on stories that will be live for up to 48 hours or permanently.
So far, the respective capability was only accessible to Premium users. But during the 10th-anniversary celebration, Telegram announced that the feature is now live for everyone. However, some users still see the prompt reading:
“Posting Stories is currently available only to subscribers of Telegram Premium”
Eventually, you have the ability to watch different stories from your friends running a Premium Telegram app. But to enjoy posting your happy moment, you need to jump on the paid version.
How to use the Telegram Story Feature? (Only for Premium Users)
- Open Telegram
- Tap on the camera button at the bottom left corner
- Select a photo or short video clip
- Tap on the Next option
- Adjust the story visibility settings as per your requirements
- Hit the Post Story button
