What is the Help Me Write feature in Gmail and how it works?
Google has recently introduced the AI-powered ‘Help Me Write’ feature in the Gmail app and here is a short description of how it works. Eventually, the new tool uses machine-based algorithms to create email drafts for users. One can even Refine the text using Formalize, Elaborate, Shorten, and I’m Feeling Lucky choices.
How does Gmail ‘Help me Write’ feature works?
- Open Gmail on any device (Android/ iOS)
- Tap on the Compose button
- Click the ‘Help Me Write’ option on the right corner
Hereafter, you can create your content by filling up the desired prompt. You can also include the recipient’s name, timings, venue, and tone of the message for better results. Once done, click on the Create tab.
Users can even edit or recreate the content as per their requirements. After finalizing the draft, hit the Insert button to use the content.
