What is Gmail Emoji Reactions feature? How it will work on your phone
Google has recently blessed Gmail with the Emoji Reactions feature and here is how it will work on your phone. Though the feature is not available to all users at the moment. But the US tech giant will gradually roll it out, covering both Android and iOS devices.
What is the Emoji Reactions feature in Gmail?
Just like WhatsApp, Gmail allows its users to react to emails with funny and formal emoticons. Eventually, you can quickly express yourself in one click. All you have to do is – select an emoji from the menu and tap to send or click on an already sent emoji to add your own.
How the Emoji Reactions feature will work in Gmail?
A new emoji reaction button appears in emails beside the reply tab. Tapping on it shows some emoticons including a heart, party, thumbs up, laughing, praying/thank you, and smiley face emoji. Further, a ‘+’ button lets you select any emoji to react to the email. Here is how to use it:
- On the Gmail app.
- Open a message you want to reply to.
- Below the message, tap Add emoji reaction Insert emoji.
- From the picker, select an emoji you want to use.
- To display more emoji, select More.
- The emoji you select appears at the bottom of the email.
