Google Pixel Watch 2 comes with a unique physical button that can act as a useful element while taking a screenshot. This component resides on the right side of the wearable and works as a physical shortcut to capture important content in one go.
A wearable device contains multiple physical buttons. Meanwhile, the Wear OS gadget always has at least one button: the power button. Beyond that, zero or more multifunction buttons may be present. Note that taking screenshots via physical button is also present on the original Pixel Watch with Wear OS 4.
How to take a screenshot using the physical button on the Pixel Watch 2?
- Locate the content you want to capture on your Pixel Watch 2.
- On the right side of the watch, there are two physical buttons: the top button and the recent button.
- Press and hold both the top and bottom buttons together for a few seconds.
- Eventually, the screen will flash and a prompt will appear indicating that the screenshot has been taken.
- Release the buttons once the screenshot has been captured.
Now tap on the screenshot notification to view it. You can take further actions such as sharing the screenshot, editing it, or saving it to your Google Photos or other compatible apps.
