Instagram Reels are one of the most interesting segments and with the access of the Remix feature, you can enjoy a more intuitive experience. Eventually, the capability lets anyone create a reel that includes someone else’s video or photo. At the same time, you can download the clip or picture as part of their remix.
It is worth mentioning that the default remix settings of your reels, feed videos, and photos mainly depend on your account’s privacy settings. For instance, No one can create remix reels with private account users. However, anyone on Instagram can make remix reels with public account owners.
How to access the Remix Reels feature on Instagram?
- Open the Instagram app on an Android or iOS device
- Tap on the three dots menu on a reel you want to remix
- Hit the Remix button
- Choose the layout as per your requirement
- Record your reel and share it
Note: Remixing a reel on a side-by-side layout lets you mix the audio and add voiceovers, text, and stickers to your Reel and the original Reel.
