Google Nest Cam has recently received the 1.69 firmware which has resulted in the night vision blur issue. As per details shared on the Reddit platform, the image or night footage appears very dull and blurry as if someone has touched the lens. Whereas, it provides clear outcomes during the daylight.
The information further reveals that the issue came into existence as far back as June when the company rolled out the revamped daytime HDR feature. But with the latest version, the issue started to spread widely among users.
How to fix the night vision blur issue on Google Nest Cam?
- Try restarting the Google Nest Camera
- You can factory reset to change the overall settings after the update
- If your camera is controlled by the Nest app, you can zoom and enhance to crop out surfaces or objects that may be causing glare.
