Telegram is getting a new update that promises to bring a revolution in the reply segment. As per the latest inputs, Telegram gains an interesting quote formatting feature that will make responses more precise and detailed.

From the name, tapping the quote option focuses on the exact location in the original message along with a beautiful animation. It pulls out the particular “quoted” text from other user’s replies and messages. Thereafter, that text will appear as if you’re replying.

How to use the quote formatting feature in Telegram?

It’s quite easy to use this capability. All you have to do is, tap the message or other user’s response. Then, hold and drag to select a particular text or the entire message and choose the ‘Quote’ from the appearing options. Beyond quoting others directly, you can add quote formatting to any text, including multiple quotes in one reply.

Note that the feature just came into existence and will take a few days to roll out to everyone. Meanwhile, don’t forget to install the latest version of the app.
