Apple is rolling out the 2.0.61 firmware version for the AirTag. The latest update aims to fix hidden bugs and vulnerabilities in the mini device that often compromises the user experience. At the same time, it improves the overall performance grade.
For your information, the newest Apple AirTag firmware is available with the 2.0.61 version or the 2A61 build number. Since this is the first software release for AirTags after the iPhone 15 series launch, we can expect some internal optimizations as well as fine-tuning.
How to download Apple AirTag firmware?
- Open the Find My App on your iPhone
- Click on the Items tab
- Select your AirTag in the list of items
- Tap the AirTag name and check the firmware version
- If a new build is available, tap on it and hit the Download button
