Tap to Pay feature on the Apple iPhone enables users to accept contactless payments, without using any extra hardware. It further accepts payments from contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Watch, and smartphones with other digital wallets. All you need is a supported app from the App Store.
How to use Tap to Pay on Apple iPhone?
You can access the respective feature via Face ID or Touch ID. For the first option:
- Double-click the side button
- When your default card appears, glance at your iPhone to authenticate with Face ID, or enter your passcode.
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader until you see Done or checkmark on the screen.
For Touch ID
- Rest your finger on the Touch ID
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader until you see Done or a checkmark on the screen.
