Telegram concerns for users’ privacy and to maintain the layer of security around your account, it has a Two-Step Verification process. As the name suggests, it helps you shield your account with a password so that your data and other essentials remain safe from prying eyes.
On the flip side, if you forget your password then you can only reset it using the recovery email that you have added during the setup. Eventually, the Two-Step Verification ensures that you remain in touch with your app data without the fear of losing it.
How to access the Two-Step Verification process in Telegram?
- Visit the Settings section
- Select the Privacy and Security tab
- Click on the Two-Step Verification to add or change the password
