Google Messages is dealing with the Magic Compose missing issue. After the latest beta version (20231031_01_RC00) installation, users report a sudden disappearance of the respective capability that used to appear on the left side of the text fields.
To those who are unaware, Magic Compose is an experimental function that runs on generative AI technology and crafts better responses for your context. While the feature is quite useful, it is missing from the app after the new build update.
Note that the Magic Compose toggle still exists in Settings followed by the Suggestions tab. However, turning it on or off didn’t make any difference to the disappearance of the feature.
How to resolve the Google Messages Magic Compose missing issue?
It seems like the company will soon release a fix to this problem in the coming days via a server-side update. Thus, ensure that you install the approaching stable version as it becomes available. On the flip side, you can try clearing the cache and resetting the app for once.
