OnePlus Open foldable powered by OxygenOS 13.2 accompanies a dynamic multitasking feature called Open Canvas. Notably, it is a powerful way to use several significant apps at once without leaving the screen or switching to the background frame.
It is worth mentioning that the Open Canvas feature is quite different from the split screen function. Instead of dividing the display into two segments, it lets the app expand off-screen. In simple words, you can move the apps back and forth while keeping them in the fullscreen view.
How to use the OxygenOS 13.2 Open Canvas feature?
Eventually, you can put two apps side by side and add one more that shows up on the off-screen. Tapping on the app’s edge will bring it to the main screen so that you may perform relevant work. It is one of the most fluent and useful multitasking aspects.
- Initially, open any app on the OnePlus Foldable
- Drag it down on the middle of the screen using two fingers
- Click on the second app
- Tap on the App Folder and drag the third app to the bottom of the screen
- Tap the pill and three dots menu to resize or move windows
- Click the Save tab
Good News – OnePlus has confirmed that the Open Canvas feature will soon be available for its tablet. The company has started the development and we may find the official rollout of this feature by the end of this month.
