Google Play Instant tool in the Play Store enable users to open and use an app or game without installing it. At the same time, it allows developers of small games to package their full game using this feature with support for in-app purchases and ads.
In simple words, Android users can have a short demo of a gaming app before downloading it to their handset. While exploring, you may see two tabs for some applications: Try Now and Install. The former one loads a demo and lets you play the game for a few minutes so that you can decide whether you want it to occupy space on your device or not.
How to enable the Play Instant tool in the Google Play Store?
- Open the Google Play app
- Tap on the Profile icon
- Go to the Settings section
- Select General > Google Play Instant
- Turn on the toggle of the Upgrade web links
Doing so may open links in instant apps instead of surfing in a browser, when available. Note that even when this setting is off, you can always continue to try instant apps by clicking on links that are Google Play branded.
