With this feature, you have the option to find out who is calling even before picking up the call. It further shows a real-time transcript of responses to clarify the reason behind a call.
Notably, the Call Screen feature runs locally on your device and doesn’t require any Wi-Fi connection or mobile data. At the same time, it enables your virtual assistant to call restaurants and make bookings on your behalf with a natural-sounding voice.
How to use the Google Pixel Call Screen feature to prevent spam calls?
Instead of missing any calls, you can screen them manually and read the transcript version to identify who is calling. Besides, you can take help of the Google Assistant to talk on your behalf for a few seconds.
- Open the Google Phone app
- Click on the three-dots menu in the top-right corner of the screen
- Choose the Settings section
- Go to Spam and Call Screen
- Enable See Caller and spam ID > Call Screen
You can select options for Call Screen like Save Call Screen audio, Choose which calls to screen, and more as per your requirements.
