Instagram has a bunch of useful functionalities and one of them is the Saved Collections feature. Eventually, this addition to the app lets you save posts by other users or from the explore feed to a private folder. Besides, these saved items won’t occupy your device space and remain safe in the app storage.
How to use the Saved Collections feature on Instagram?
- Tap on the ‘save/bookmark’ icon on any post on Instagram
- The post will appear in the default All Posts section
- Click on the three-dots menu and hit the Select button
- Pick those posts that you want to save in a different collection
In case you have never created a collection before then tap on the + icon in the Saved section, select some posts, and then hit the Next button. You can change the cover and add a name to your new collection.
