Gmail ensures that your data remains safe and here are a few steps that reveal how you can keep your emails encrypted in the application. Eventually, the US tech giant has included a couple of tricks that enable users to make their emails more secure.
How to keep your emails encrypted in Gmail?
- Open the Gmail app on your device
- Head to Google Admin Console
- Select Apps
- Click on Workspace > Gmail
- Now select User Settings and domain name to activate S/MIME
- Enable the S/MIME encryption for sending and receiving emails
Once done, you will see a lock icon next to the recipient names. Red indicates that it is not encrypted and Green and gray hints at the encryption levels.
